This training can only be done if the student has held their MR or HR licence for 1 year. Industry Training Qld conducts one hour lessons and the training is competency based. Once the student is competent with their driving lessons, a practical test with Qld Transport can be booked. The student will do the test with one of Qld Transport assessors but will use the same truck that they have trained in.

Industry Training Qld conducts lessons from Mon to Fri 7am to 5pm and also on Sat 7am to 12 noon if required with all Saturday lessons needing to be pre-paid. It is recommended that students do at least one lesson a week so they do not forget what they have learnt. Some students do one a day, or maybe even a 2 hour block. This all depends on their availability and their budget…..

H.C lessons are $140.00 per hour.

An average amount of lesson for a raw beginner is around 12 plus the test (We charge one hour for the hire of the truck for the test)

$1540.00 + Qld Transport test fee $44.95 = $1584.95
