Scissor & Boom Lift Elevated - Yellowcard Training

Overview

The EWP, Yellow card is nationally recognised operator training program. Industry Training Qld maintains the training program in accordance with the Elevated Work Platform Association Of Australia (EWPAA ).

All States of Australia have OH&S regulations in place to secure and promote health and safety and welfare of all people, and employee’s of the employer in the workplace, and further states the duty extends to providing such information, instruction training and supervision work. Therefore elevated Work Platform, EWP operators need documented proof he/she has been trained in the safe used of EWP’s, the Yellow Card is a chosen solution.

Course Details

 OBTAINING YOUR LICENCE: 

Your course fees that are paid to Industry Training Qld include the fees for the licence. We will process the application on your behalf and will forward the relevant fees and information to EWP Australia who will then post you your plastic Yellow Card to the address you have provided .

 PRE-REQUISITES:

Students must be at least 18 years of age. 

Literacy skills to read and write basic English standard. 

Provision and use of basic PPE (enclosed boots, ‘high vis’ vest, at etc)

HOW DOES IT WORK:

The Trained Operator Card is proof of competition in one more modules in various types of EWP’s. There are 4 different EWP Training modules we can offer:

  • Trailer Mounted Boom Lift (TL )
  • Self Propelled Boom Lift ( SL)
  • Vertical Lift ( VL)
  • Scissor Lift ( SL)

WHERE DOES THE HIGH RISK LICENCE: 11M BOOM LICENCE ( TLILIC508A) (WP) FIT IN ?

This Licence covers the boom type EWP’s, 11 metres and over ( eg. Truck Mount, tailer mount & self propelled ). It is recommended that you contact your State Regulatory Authority as licensing procedures may differ slightly from state to state

 

Duration

The Yellow card training course runs for a half day approx 8.30am — 1 pm and is available Monday to Friday please contact our office to arrange dates.
